JOB OVERVIEW

Solicit business for the Mobile App Engagement tie-up with Hospitality Partners in GOA like Hotels, Casinos, Tourist Spots, Film Festivals, Goa festivities & all other relevant events tie-up. Maximize profits of the hospitality industry through creative and selective selling to engage them with as VAS (Value Added Services) platform

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Graduate Minimum
  • 6-7 years’ experience in a similar position in an upscale Hospitality industry partner
  • Need to have knowledge of Hospitality Industry
  • Ability to communicate in English, Hindi & Konkani, both verbally and in writing
  • Compute basic arithmetic to apprehend sales quotas & achievements through PPT
  • Make own, personal & customized PPT based on Taxi World of Drivers, Tourists Feedback on continuous basis
  • Make Slides on Power points, represent numbers on excel sheets to make up & report sales numbers

Desirable:

  • College degree/Post Graduation in sales & Marketing is preferred, although not mandatory
  • Knowledge in a second language
  • Certification in Hospitality & or Work Experience in VAS (Value Added Services) Reseller Model
  • Previous Passenger/Customer/Tourist relations training and experience
  • Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Prioritize, organize and follow up
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm in resolving problems using good judgment
  • Candidates based in GOA & having Good knowledge of Geo-Political conditions of GOA are highly preferred.

Job Description:

  • Prepare and administer timely Performance Evaluations & Revenue pattern, according to hospitality standards
  • Ability to comprehend P & L, budget reports
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental, divisional, and hospitality policies, procedures, and standards
  • Be familiar with all Hospitality services/features so that Marketing & Sales collaterals are being made likewise by you & apprehended with your knowledge and local flavors of GOAN Community
  • Review the daily activities, such as:
    • Daily Sales report
    • Forecasted numbers for each Industry
    • Sales activity & it’s feedback
    • Meetings
    • Appointments
    • Business Meetings & Tie-up Strategy collaboration
    • Marketing & Sales Events at regular intervals
    • Marketing Collaterals
  • Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity & associate morale
  • Input and access information in the computer and/or point of sales system
  • Plan and conduct monthly departmental meetings and Daily Sales Meetings (DSM)
  • Meet or exceed assigned monthly booking quota in the assigned market.
  • Assist in achieving or exceeding budgeted goals in sales, profit and Value Added Services Business through all the segment being earmarked
  • Qualification and solicitation of existing and new accounts
  • Promptly respond (within 24 hours) to all inquiries, prospects, and tentative or definite business.
  • Interact with customers during meetings or conventions on the property
  • Regular contact with future definite prospects
  • Review meeting quotas, goals and forecasts for quality and quantity of Business Numbers assigned
  • Referral production for other company Hospitality Group properties & events handlings
  • Accurately report the day to day & month-end Forecasting numbers from each Sector for VAS Services and revenue accounts to Corporate Executive members, for revenue increasing opportunities and possible action plans
  • Report on trends in the industry and local markets
  • Budget, plan, and execute cost-effective and productive sales calls
  • Accurately forecast all strong tentative and definite Business on regular basis to management groups on an ongoing basis, paying particular attention to the forecasted average rate
  • Maintain a calendar allowing you to meet all established deadlines and planned sales activities & targets given
  • Plan and execute cost-effective and productive sales trips into your assigned territory, to improve and increase our penetration of that market. Trips to be scheduled in conjunction with established show dates of other events.
